Martin Litton, the "Grand Old Man of the Canyon", has long been revered as the man who prevented the dams from being built on the Colorado River that would have flooded the Grand Canyon.
Even now at 92, Litton continues to run wild rivers & fly his airplane around the west to monitor the illegal cutting of cathedral groves of sequoias & other virgin forests.
